LANCASTER, SC ~ Mrs. Peggy Frances Knight McNaughton, age 79, passed away peacefully Sunday, July 30, 2017. She was born, November 23, 1937 in Pageland, SC, a daughter of the late Jessie Knight and Lillie Mae Price Knight and the wife of James McNaughton. She was employed at Belks Department Store and Sonny Bowers Dodge. Mrs. McNaughton was a wonderful cook. She loved to read and work puzzles, loved her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Mrs. McNaughton was a member at Living Church of God.

Mrs. McNaughton is survived by her husband; a son, Tim McNaughton; a daughter, Wanda McNaughton; three grandchildren, Ashley Hudson Curtis (Chris), Jeremy Hudson and Chase McNaughton; and two great grandchildren, Drew and Emma Curtis.

Mrs. McNaughton was the last remaining child of fourteen siblings.

The Celebration of Life Memorial Service for Mrs. McNaughton will be 3:00 pm Wednesday, August 2, 2017 at The Chapel of Burgess Funeral Home by Mr. Rod McNair and Mr. Michael Desimone.

The family will receive friends from 2:00-3:00 pm, one hour prior to the service, at Burgess Funeral Home, 1800 Charlotte Hwy., Lancaster, SC. The family suggests memorial contributions be made to Living Church of God, 2301 Crown Centre Dr., Charlotte, NC 28227.
