LANCASTER, SC ~ Mrs. Mary Pearl Terry Jones, age 84, passed away Wednesday, March 11, 2020.  She was born December 30, 1935 in Lancaster, SC, a daughter of the late William Logan Terry and Mary Bertha Parsons Terry and was the wife of the late Robert Junior Jones.  Mrs. Jones enjoyed going to the beach and cooking.  Mountain Dew was her favorite drink and she made sure she had plenty.  She loved her family dearly and enjoyed having everyone at her home during the holidays.  Mrs. Jones was a member of First Pentecostal Holiness Church, where she taught Sunday School for 50 years and played the piano.

Mrs. Jones is survived by two sons, Bobby G. Jones (Ann) and Robert "Robby" Jones (Suzie); two daughters, Denise Stevens (Larry "Buck") and Phyllis Lane (Eric); fourteen grandchildren; twenty-two great grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren.

Mrs. Jones was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Jones; her parents; a great grandson, Bryce Short; two brothers, William Earl Terry and Noah Evette Terry; and a close personal friend, Byrl D. Ogle.

The Celebration of Life Service for Mrs. Jones will be 3:00 pm Saturday, March 14, 2020 at First Pentecostal Holiness Church officiated by Rev. Jimmy Lambert.  Burial will follow at Lancaster Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends from 2:00 – 3:00 pm, one hour prior to the service, in the church fellowship hall.
