LANCASTER, SC ~ Ms. Pauline Lane Caskey, age 74, passed away Wednesday, February 13, 2019 at her home.  She was born June 19, 1944 in Lancaster, SC, a daughter of the late Walter Theo Lane and Flonnie Knight Lane.  Ms. Caskey retired after 50 years from the Business Office at Springs Memorial Hospital.  She enjoyed going to the movies, riding and looking at Christmas lights, going out to eat, and working on puzzles.  Ms. Caskey always had a positive outlook on life.  She never said anything bad about anyone.  Her son and grandson were the light of her life.  Ms. Caskey was a member of White Springs Baptist Church.

Ms. Caskey is survived by a son, Joey Brent Caskey and his wife, Khristy; a grandson, Cody Dallas Caskey; two sisters, Shirley Lane and Pearline Lane; and a niece, Penny Lane, all of Lancaster.

Ms. Caskey was preceded in death by parents; and a sister, Helen Bradley.

The Celebration of Life Funeral Service for Ms. Caskey will be 11:00 am Friday, February 15, 2019 at The Chapel of Burgess Funeral Home by Rev. Jim Osteen. Burial will follow at Zion United Methodist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 10:00 am- 11:00 am, one hour prior to service, at Burgess Funeral Home, 1800 Charlotte Hwy., Lancaster, SC.
