LANCASTER Mrs. Patsy Oglesby Threatt, age 75, passed away Wednesday, March 22, 2017 at her home. She was born February 1, 1942 in Great Falls, SC, a daughter of the late Hugh Kell Oglesby and Faye Funderburk Oglesby and was the wife of the late George Ronnie Threatt. Patsy retired from Springs Industries. She was a very active member of Second Baptist Church serving with the Childrens Ministry, The Way, Closet Ministry, Sportsman Banquet and mission trips. She was a godly woman who loved her family deeply.

Mrs. Threatt is survived by a daughter, Sheri Snead and her husband, Joseph of Great Falls; two sisters, Sandra O. Broom of Great Falls and Carolyn O. Campbell of Lexington; a grandson, Brandon Jones and his fianc Candice Banks of Great Falls; two granddaughters, Lauren Cameron (Travis) and Jessica Lipford and her husband, Travis; five great grandchildren, Colton Dwayne Wilson, Michaela Baldwin, Peyton Baldwin, Tinsley Cameron and Kannon Cameron; special nieces, Donna Rollins (Neil), Kim Sapp (Ray), and Kelly Manning (Michael), and special great nieces and nephews, Alex Walters (Jessica), Rebekah Sapp, Joshua Sapp, Jakob Sapp, Karsyn Manning, Will Manning, Emily Manning, Joel Rollins and Chase Rollins; a great-great niece, Ivy Millwood; her special friends, Nancy and Kevin Cauthen of Lancaster, and her beloved puppy, Ella.

Mrs. Threatt was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; two brothers in law, John Campbell and Bobby Broom; a great nephew, Steven Neil Walters and a great grandson, M. J. Baldwin.

The Celebration of Life Funeral Service for Patsy will be 2:00 pm Sunday, March 26, 2017 at Second Baptist Church by Dr. Brian Saxon and Rev. Larry Helm. Burial will follow at Lancaster Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 7:00 pm Saturday evening, March 25, 2017 at Burgess Funeral Home and suggest memorial contributions be made to Second Baptist Church, AWANA Childrens Ministry, 1426 Great Falls Highway, Lancaster, SC 29720.
