KERSHAW, SC:::::::::::Ms. Patricia "Pat" Sims Faile, age 73, died Tuesday, February 4, 2014 at Springs Memorial Hospital. She was born July 11, 1940 in Lancaster, the daughter of the late John Julius Sims, Sr. and Lydia Sellers Sims. Ms. Faile retired from the Lancaster Convalescent Center as a Certified Nursing Assistant and was a member of Taxahaw Baptist Church.

Ms. Faile is survived by a son, Joseph T. "Tommy" Faile and his wife Tina of Kershaw, a brother, Roger Sims and his wife Linda of Lancaster, two grandchildren, Thomas Delane Faile and Deidra Green, and five great grandchildren, Nathan and Lauren Faile, Rebecca Phillips and Sheyna and Faithe Green.

Ms. Faile was preceded in death by four brothers, John Sims, Wayne Sims, Crawford Sims and Danny Sims.

The Celebration of Life Funeral Service for Ms. Faile will be 3:00 pm, Thursday, February 6, 2014 at Taxahaw Baptist Church by Rev. Roger Burden and Rev. Tommy Preslar. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

The Family of Ms. Faile will receive friends one hour before the service in the church sanctuary and suggest memorial contributions be made to Taxahaw Baptist Church Building Fund, c/o Larry Robertson, 1876 Overbrook Road, Kershaw, SC 29067.
