LANCASTER, SC:::::::::::Mrs. Patricia Howgard Petroski, age 76, died Saturday, November 26, 2016 at White Oak Manor. She was born December 10, 1939 in Meadville, PA., a daughter of the late Robert Howgard and Gertrude Eccles Howgard Hanka, and was the wife of the late Gaylord Gary Lee Petroski. Mrs. Petroski was the Director for Lancaster County Red Cross and the Center Director for Lancaster County Council on Aging. She enjoyed crafting, woodworking, and painting, especially ocean and mountain scenes. Mrs. Petroski was a charter member at the Church of Lancaster, where she was actively involved in the Women of the Church and Women of the Word ministries.

Mrs. Petroski is survived by a son, Jeff Petroski and his wife, Carolyn of Lancaster; a daughter, Pam Petroski of Mooresville, NC; a granddaughter, Shannon McKenzie and her husband Murdoch Doc of York; two grandsons, Patrick Campbell and his wife, Kiley Prilliman of Rockville, Maryland, and Reggie Campbell and his wife, Stephanie of Lancaster; and a great grandson, Owens Campbell.

Mrs. Petroski was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Gary Petroski.

The Celebration of Life Funeral Service for Mrs. Petroski will be 2:00 pm Saturday, December 3, 2016 at The Chapel of Burgess Funeral Home by Rev. Roy Miles.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at Burgess Funeral Home, 1800 Charlotte Highway, Lancaster, SC and suggest memorial contributions be made to Lancaster County Council on Aging, PO Box 1296, Lancaster, SC 29721.
