INDIAN LAND, SC ::::: Mrs. Patricia Ann "Patty" Donoghue Bridges, age 60, passed away Monday, October 19, 2015 at Presbyterian Hospital - Matthews. She was born April 21, 1955 in Baltimore, Maryland, a daughter of the late John Albert Donoghue and Hilda Clancy Donoghue and was the wife of William Ross Bridges. Mrs. Bridges was a graduate of Winthrop University. She was a teacher and recently retired from Indian Land Elementary School. She loved to travel and especially loved the beach. She was a giving and caring person who deeply loved her family and was a member of Pleasant Hill United Methodist Church.

Mrs. Bridges is survived her husband, William Ross Bridges; two sons, William Ross Bridges, Jr. and his wife, Noel of Beaverton, OR and Gregory Evan Bridges of Norcross, GA; two grandchildren, Boyd Evan Bridges and Emerson Leigh Bridges; three brothers, Michael Donoghue and his wife, Gina of Joppatown, MD, Timothy Donoghue of Rising Sun, MD and John Donoghue and his wife, Debbie of Ocean Isle Beach, NC; and two sisters, Leigh Wall of Abington, VA and Mary Ann Wallace and her husband, Jim of Ocean Isle Beach, NC.

The Celebration of Life Memorial Service for Mrs. Bridges will be 2:00 pm Sunday, October 25, 2015 at Pleasant Hill United Methodist Church by Rev. Joel McMakin.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to Indian Land Elementary School, Early Education, 4137 Dobys Bridge Road, Indian Land, SC 29707.
