LANCASTER, SC ~ Mrs. Patricia Ann Vincent Horton, age 83, passed away, Saturday, December 7, 2024. She was born December 15, 1940, in Lancaster, SC, daughter of the late Heyward Vincent and Lula Snipes Vincent Railey and was the wife of the late Charles William Horton. Mrs. Horton enjoyed working in her yard, flowers, cooking, and playing with her grandchildren. She was of the Christian faith.

Mrs. Horton is survived by her son, Chris Horton (Lisa); two daughters, Kathy Horton (James Whetstone) and Robin Thompson; granddaughters, Sky Eddings (Patrick), Erica Beckham, Tosha Bryson, and four other grandchildren; great grandchild, Elena Eddings; two great great grandchildren; brother, Ronnie Vincent (Frances); sister, Peggy Brightwell (Richard); and sister-in-law, Margie Vincent.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Horton; son, Robert Horton; daughter, Sherry Christmas; her parents; brother, Ray Vincent; and stepfather, James Railey.

The Celebration of Life Service for Mrs. Horton will be 3:00 pm Monday, December 16, 2024, at The Chapel of Burgess Funeral Home officiated Pastor Carl Williams. Burial will follow at Lancaster Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends from 2:00 – 3:00 pm, one hour prior to the service, at Burgess Funeral Home.
