LANCASTER, SC ~ Mrs. Patricia "Pat" Yvonne Smith Faulkenberry, age 84, passed away Tuesday, December 7, 2021. She was born May 6, 1937, in Lexington, SC, a daughter of the late Leon Asbury Smith and Myrtie Rawl Smith and was the wife of the late Joseph "Joe" Faulkenberry. Mrs. Faulkenberry enjoyed baking, going to the beach, going to all her grandchildren's school and sporting events, and shopping with her sister and best friend, Sandra.  Her family was most important to her, and she loved them all dearly.  Mrs. Faulkenberry was a member of High Point Baptist Church, and she loved her church family.

Mrs. Faulkenberry is survived by her three daughters, Lori Johnson (Mike), Sherry Ingram (Tim), and Regina Davis (Dan); seven grandchildren, Cory Ingram (Maria), Holly Penuela (Luis), Hunter Johnson, Whitney Johnson, Gabrielle Davis, Bryton Davis, and Paige Davis; one great grandchild, Sophia Penuela; a brother, Tony Smith (Bobbie); her sister, Sandra Baker; and many nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Faulkenberry was preceded in death by her husband, Joe Faulkenberry; her parents; a brother, Leon Smith, Jr.; and a brother-in-law, Joe Baker.

The Celebration of Life Service for Mrs. Faulkenberry will be 2:00 pm Saturday, December 11, 2021, at High Point Baptist Church officiated by Rev. Billy Belk and Rev. Bobby Joyner. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 pm – 7:00 pm Friday, December 10, 2021 at Burgess Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, for those who wish, memorial contributions may be made to High Point Baptist Church, 1888 Rocky River Rd., Lancaster, SC 29720.
