LANCASTER, SC ~ Mrs. Ovedia Stogner Love, age 92, passed away Monday, January 11, 2021 at her home. She was born April 13, 1928 in Lancaster, SC, a daughter of the late Oscar Marion Stogner and Leila Pate Stogner and was the wife of the late George Griffin. Mrs. Love retired from Joslyn Clark Control. She was an outdoors person and always enjoyed gardening and seeing the beauty of the flowers she planted.   Bird watching was also something she enjoyed.  She placed the feeders so she was able to watch them play.  She was a member of Zion United Methodist Church.

Mrs. Love is survived by three sons, Rock Love (Karen), John Love (Jalayn) and Frank Love (Colleen); four grandchildren, Shane Love (Glenda), Jessica Love, Chris Love (Christina), and Melanie Roche (Matt); granddaughter in law, Stefanie Love; nine great grandchildren, Brittany Montgomery (Mitchell), Gavin Love, Paisley Love, Sawyer Love, Vince Roche, Eva Roche, Isaiah Roche, Delia Roche and John Roche; and a brother, Buck Stogner.

Mrs. Love was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, George B. Griffin; a daughter, Jan Love; a grandson, Caleb Love; and two sisters, Doris Faulkenberry and Leila Ghent.

The Celebration of Life Service for Mrs. Love will be private.  The family suggests memorials be made to the Connie Maxwell Children's Home, 810 Maxwell Avenue, Greenwood, SC 29646.
