LANCASTER, SC ::::::::::: Mrs. Onita Dean Baxley, age 85, died Sunday, September 27, 2009 at Lancaster Convalescent Center. She was born August 20, 1924 the daughter of the late John Dow Dean and Ethel Newton Dean and was the wife of the late Stanley Carl Baxley, Sr. Mrs. Baxley was a retired LPTA with Springs Memorial Hospital and a member of Second Baptist Church. Mrs. Baxley was survived by a daughter, Dianne B. Baker and her husband Doug of Lancaster, 2 grandchildren, Brent Baker and his wife Stacey of Lancaster, and Mendy B. Hinson and her husband Timmy of Lancaster, and 3 great grandchildren; Kaitlyn and Karlie Hinson and Peyton Baker.Mrs. Baxley was preceded in death by a son, Stanley Carl Baxley, Jr. The Celebration of Life Graveside Funeral Service for Mrs. Baxley will be 2:00 pm Tuesday, Sept 29, 2009 at Lancaster Memorial Park by Dr. Brian Saxon and Rev. Larry Helm with burial to follow. The Family of Mrs. Baxley will receive friends immediately following the service and at other times at the home of Dianne Baker, 1013 Meadowbrook Drive, Lancaster.
