LANCASTER, SC:::::::::::: Mr. Olen Dean Easler, age 77, died Tuesday, September 6, 2016 at Springs Memorial Hospital. He was born September 13, 1938 in Gaffney, SC, a son of the late Roland Easler and Mary Jane Atkins Easler and was the husband of Betty Cauthen Easler. Mr. Easler retired from Springs Industries. He served our country in the Army National Guard and was a member of New Life Freewill Baptist Church.

Mr. Easler is survived by his wife of 58 years, Betty Cauthen Easler; a son, Mark W. Easler of Atlanta, GA; a sister, Helen Cooper of Mount Holly, NC; and six grandchildren, Amber Nicole Easler, Olen Easler, Justin Easler, Cole Easler, Ryan Easler and Regis Wilmot.

Mr. Easler was preceded in death by a son, Jayme D. Easler; a brother, Leroy Easler; and three sisters, Beatrice Curtis, Jeanette Burns, and Dorothy Morrrow.

The Celebration of Life Funeral Service for Mr. Easler will be 1:00 pm Saturday, September 10, 2016 at New Life Freewill Baptist Church by Rev. Douglas Pate and Rev. Mitch Ingram. Entombment will follow at Lancaster Memorial Park Mausoleum.

The Family will receive friends from 10:00 12:00 pm Saturday, September 10, 2016 at Burgess Funeral Home, 1800 Charlotte Highway, Lancaster, SC and suggest memorial contributions be made to New Life Freewill Baptist Church, 1622 Springdale Road, Lancaster, SC 29720.
