LANCASTER, SC::::::::: Mr. Norman John "Clairabell" Demers, Jr., age 58, died Sunday, November 22, 2015 at his home. He was born February 7, 1957 in Waterbury, CT, a son of Frances Adline Carangelo Demers "Toots" and the late Norman John Demers, Sr. and was the husband of the late Julie Schlask Demers. He was employed with Strataforce in Charlotte, NC, was a newspaper carrier for The Lancaster News and of the Catholic faith.

Mr. Demers is survived by his mother, Frances Carangelo Demers of Waterbury, CT; a daughter, Mary Spada and her husband, Salvatore of Middletown, CT; two grandchildren, Timothy R. Spear, Jr. of Wolcott, CT and Jay M. Spear of Middletown; three brothers, Alfred Demers from Waterbury, CT, Raymond Michael Demers and his wife, Anna of Thomaston, CT and William Demers and his wife, Louise of Naugatuck, CT; three sisters, Norma Hoffman and her husband, Gary of Wolcott, CT, Shirley Lacharity and her husband, Paul of Waterbury, CT and Ruth Mercier of Watertown, CT and his companion, Janie Powers of Lancaster.
