LANCASTER, SC:::::::::::Mrs. Nora McGuirt Gainer, age 91, died Friday, April 19, 2013 at the Wayne T. Patrick Hospice House. She was born March 23, 1922 in Lancaster County the daughter of the late William David McGuirt and Sarah Maggie Gamble McGuirt and was the wife of the late James Gainer. Mrs. Gainer retired from Springs Industries and was a member of Grace United Methodist Church.

Mrs. Gainer is survived by 3 children, Kenneth McGee and his wife Barbara, Nancy Caskey and her husband James "Pap" and David Gainer and his wife Carol all of Lancaster, a sister, Helen Hunter of Lancaster, 4 grandchildren, Angela Roberts and her husband Stacy, Paul Caskey and his wife Erin, Jackie Miles and his wife Tina and Jason Gainer, and 5 great grandchildren, Benjamin and Andrew Caskey, Ryan Miles, Miranda and Makenna Gainer.

The Celebration of Life Funeral Service for Mrs. Gainer will be 3:00 pm, Saturday, April 20, 2013 at The Chapel of Hartley Burgess Funeral Home by Rev. Brian Humphries and Rev. Harold Owens. Burial will follow at Lancaster Memorial Park.

The Family of Mrs. Gainer will receive friends from 2:00 - 3:00 pm, Saturday, April 20, 2013 at Hartley Burgess Funeral Home and suggest memorials be made to Wayne T. Patrick Hospice House, 2275 Indian Hook Road, Rock Hill SC 29732.
