LANCASTER, SC::::::::: Mr. Nolan William Fairconeture, age 77, died Sunday, January 3, 2016 at Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte. He was born October 31, 1938 in Bay St. Louis, Mississippi, a son of the late Ernest Fairconeture and Celine Vonteau Fairconeture and was the husband of Dorothy Davis Fairconeture. Mr. Fairconeture retired from International Baking Company and served our country in the United States Army. He enjoyed bowling, fishing and loved to travel, especially cruises. He was a volunteer with Hope of Lancaster and the Boy's Home. Mr. Fairconeture loved spending time with his family. He was a member of Second Baptist Church where he served as Usher and was very involved with the Sportsman's Banquet and the Way.
Mr. Fairconeture is survived by his wife of 54 years, Dorothy Davis Fairconeture; three daughters, Cassandra Mayo, Denise Fairconeture, and Crystal March and her husband, Kenneth March, Jr. all of Charlotte; seven grandchildren, Kristianna Pearson and her husband, Brandon, Alexandra Mayo, Robert Barnes and his wife, Lanaria, James Barnes and his wife, Lady, Omari Poulson, Cheyenne March and Kenneth March, III; four great grandchildren, Ariella, Christian, Josiah and Ethan Barnes; and two sisters, Evelyn Spearman and her husband, Lee and Marva Fairconeture both of Oklahoma.
Mr. Fairconeture was preceded in death by four brothers, Ernest Fairconeture, Ray Fairconeture, Landoff Fairconeture and Ralph Fairconeture and three sisters, Judith Tate, Marie Fairconeture, and Marcella Crawley.
The Celebration of Life Funeral Service for Mr. Fairconeture will be 11:00 am Thursday, January 7, 2016 at Second Baptist Church by Dr. Brian Saxon and Rev. Larry Helm. Burial will follow in Lancaster Memorial Park.
The Family will receive friends one hour before the service, from 10:00 - 11:00 am Thursday at Second Baptist Church and suggest memorial contributions be made to Second Baptist Church, 1426 Great Falls Highway, Lancaster, SC 29720.
