LANCASTER, SC ~ Mrs. Nina Jo Watts Wright, age 72, passed away Thursday, May 12, 2022. She was born August 29, 1949, in Lancaster, a daughter of the late Willy Henry Watts and Mary Ellen Outen Watts and was the wife of Brady Lane Wright.  Mrs. Wright loved to visit the beach and the mountains. She was a member of Springdell Baptist Church where she enjoyed her friends in her Senior Group and singing in the choir.

Mrs. Wright is survived by her husband of 53 years, Lane Wright; her brother, Clyde Watts; her eight nephews, Jerome Watts, Mark Watts, Charles Watts, Bryan Watts, Rodney Watts, Chris Watts, Scotty Watts, and Jeffery Watts; and her special friends, Vicki Faulkenberry (Roger), Crystal Henry (Jack), and Brenda Newcomb (Bill).

Mrs. Wright was preceded in death by her parents, Willie and Mary Watts; her three brothers, Jack Watts, John Watts, and Mike Watts; and her niece, Patricia Bowers.

The Celebration of Life Funeral Service for Mrs. Wright will be held at 3:00 pm on Sunday, May 15, 2022, at The Chapel of Burgess Funeral Home officiated by Rev. Donald Tillman. Entombment will follow at Lancaster Memorial Park Mausoleum.

The family will receive friends Saturday, May 14, 2022, from 5:00 – 7:00pm at Burgess Funeral Home.
