INDIAN LAND, SC~ Mrs. Nila Faye Lewis Thompson, age 92, passed away Monday, June 1, 2020.  She was born April 21, 1928 in Sugar City, Idaho, a daughter of the late Melvern Lewis and Thelma Hamilton Lewis.  Mrs. Thompson loved all animals, but especially cats and dogs.  She enjoyed playing games on her iPad.  Her family was number one to her and she loved every moment she could spend with them.  Mrs. Thompson was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.

Mrs. Thompson is survived by a son, Oscar Michael Hines (Nancy); two daughters, Linda Hines Satalino and Monica Pursley (Steven); thirteen grandchildren; twenty great grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Thompson was preceded in death by both of her former husbands, Oscar Hines and Tommy Thompson; a son, Edward Hines; a daughter, Sandra Lewis; her parents; a son-in-law, Joseph Satalino; three brothers, Dale Lewis, Gerry Lewis, and Dean Lewis; and a sister, Donna Gardner.
