LANCASTER, SC:::::::::::: Mrs. Nell Hunter Plyler, age 90, died Sunday afternoon, September 7, 2008 at Springs Memorial Hospital. She was born June 1, 1918 in Lancaster, the daughter of the late Burl Andrew Hunter and Queen Adams Hunter and was the wife of the late George Drennon Plyler. Mrs. Plyler was a homemaker and a member of Trinity United Methodist Church.Mrs. Plyler was survived by 2 sons, Richard Plyler of Lancaster and Tony Plyler and his wife Millie of Liberty Hill, a daughter, Jo Ann Plyler Plexico and her husband John of Lancaster, 4 grandchildren, Brad Plexico and his wife Bridgett, Amy Wartham and her husband Mark, Scott Plyler and his wife Michaele, Lindsay Plyler and Tod Hammond, and 7 great grandchildren, Hunter and Landon Hammond, Marshall Plyler, Jason and Dillon Plexico, and Nicholas and Daniel Wartham.Mrs. Plyler was the last remaining member of her family of 10 siblings.The Celebration of Life Funeral Service for Mrs. Plyler will be 11:00 am, Tuesday morning, September 9, 2008 at Trinity United Methodist Church by Rev. Arthur Vick with burial to follow at Lancaster Memorial Park.The Family of Mrs. Plyler will receive friends from 6:00 - 8:00 pm Monday evening, September 8, 2008 at Hartley Funeral Home and suggest memorial contributions be made to Trinity United Methodist Church, 1664 Flat Creek Road, Lancaster, SC 29720.The Family will meet at the home of her daughter, Jo Ann Plexico, 101 Plexico Drive, Lancaster.
