LANCASTER, SC ~ Mrs. Nancy McManus Kennington, 58, passed away Tuesday, May 22, 2018 at her home. She was born August 5, 1959 in Lancaster, a daughter of Lorene Carnes McManus and the late David Franklin McManus. She is the wife of Don Kennington. She loved gardening, the outdoors and working on the farm with her family. She was a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church.

Mrs. Kennington is survived by her husband, Don Kennington; her mother, Lorene Carnes McManus; her children, Ashley Kennington and Jessica Kennington Laney and her husband, Cory; two grandchildren, Taylor and Sydney Laney; a brother, Dennis McManus and a sister, Rebecca Ridgeway all of Lancaster.

Mrs. Kennington was preceded in death by her father and a brother, James W. McManus.

The Celebration of Life Funeral Service for Mrs. Kennington will be 3:00 pm Friday, May 25, 2018 at Bethlehem Baptist Church by Rev. Jason Myers and Rev. Donald Coppedge. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

The family will receive friends one hour before the service, from 2:00-3:00 pm, at the church and suggest memorial contributions be made to Bethlehem Baptist Church, 1841 North Rocky River Road, Lancaster, SC 29720.
