LANCASTER, SC ~ Mrs. Nancy Lucinda Ormand Jenkins, affectionately known as NOJ, age 78, passed away Wednesday, January 3, 2024, at her home surrounded by her family. She was born January 1, 1946, daughter of the late David Anderson Ormand, Sr. and Edna Earle Roberts Ormand and was the wife of the late Clyde Davis Jenkins. She was a devoted loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who always took care of her family. She was a devout Christian who loved the Lord and lived by serving others rather than herself. Her greatest treasures were her family. Mrs. Jenkins was a member of Hopewell United Methodist Church.

Mrs. Jenkins is survived by her daughters, Julie Boatright, Becky Catoe (Chris), Crissy Sellers (Keith), Missy Belk (David); fourteen grandchildren, Jay Cooper (Taylor), Lyndsay Gainer, Kayla Lane, Bailey Lane, Mallory Lane, Remington Catoe, Alyssa Catoe, Kierstyn Catoe, Nai'a Cooper (Cody), Natalie Howell Miles (Kevin), Payton Howell (Andrew), Michael Howell (Victoria), Tanner Belk (Kayley), and Aidan Belk; six great grandchildren, Reed Rockholt, Tatum Cooper, Lawson Miles, Cohen Ellis, Mila Raye Miles, and Kameron Catoe; sister-in-law, Kitty Ormand; special nieces, Carol Hunter and Karen Blackmon; and wonderful caregiver, Ella Howard.

Mrs. Jenkins is preceded in death by her husband, Clyde Jenkins; twin boys, Carey and Jarey Jenkins; her parents; six brothers, David Ormand, Bob Ormand, Jack Ormand, JP Ormand, Charles Ray Ormand, and Marion Ormand; and three sisters, Frances Steele, Peggy Flynn, and Jean Ormand as well as two special friends, Mildred and Bobby Jo Bradburn.

The Celebration of Life Service for Mrs. Jenkins will be 2:00 pm Friday, January 5, 2024, at Hopewell United Methodist Church. The family will receive friends following the service in the church fellowship hall. Inurnment will be private.
