LANCASTER, SC::::::::::::: Mrs. Nancy "Tot" Brazzell Hunter, age 73, of 1601 Logan Terry Road, died Saturday, January 16, 2010 at her home. She was born January 30, 1936 in Lancaster County the daughter of the late Robert James Brazzell and Faylee Gheant Brazzell and was the wife of the late Roy Hunter. Mrs. Hunter retired from Springs Industries and was of the Baptist Faith. Mrs. Hunter is survived by 2 daughters, Ann Jones and her husband Bobby of Lancaster, and Brenda Kersey and her husband Teddie of Heath Springs, a brother, Donald Brazzell of Lancaster, 2 sisters, Evelyn Crenshaw of Lancaster, and Elizabeth Walters of Winnsboro, SC, 4 grandchildren, Kathrina Helms, Michelle Wallace, Tabitha Dean and Dewayne Cummings and 9 great grandchildren. Mrs. Hunter was preceded by a grandson; Joshua Cummings.The Celebration of Life Funeral Service for Mrs. Hunter will be 2:00 pm, Tuesday, January 19, 2010 at The Chapel of Hartley Funeral Home by Rev. Randy Mellichamp with burial to follow at Lancaster Memorial Park. The Family of Mrs. Hunter will be at the home of her daughter, Ann Jones, 1601 Logan Terry Road and suggested memorial contributions be made to the Hospice of Lancaster, 902 W. Meeting Street, Lancaster SC 29720.
