LANCASTER, SC:::::::::::Mrs. Nancy Vivian Watts Hayes, age 80, went to her heavenly home on Tuesday, June 14, 2016. She was born August 26, 1935 in Kershaw County, a daughter of the late Emsie Odell Watts and Nettie Louise Taylor Watts and the wife of James Beauford Buford Hayes. Mrs. Hayes was a homemaker and Pastors wife. She loved the beach, reading, and working in her yard and flower garden. She enjoying talking with others and never met a stranger. Mrs. Hayes was a member of White Springs Baptist Church. In the past, she served as a Sunday School teacher, WMU leader, and many other capacities in various churches where her husband Pastored.

Mrs. Hayes is survived by her husband of 60 years, Rev. James Beauford Buford Hayes; a son, Kevin Beauford Hayes; a daughter, Tammy Hayes McAteer and her husband Alan; a grandson, Stewart Alan McAteer and his wife Jody; and a great grandson, Luke Mayfield.

Mrs. Hayes was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Jean Carolyn Carol Watts Robinson.

The Celebration of Life Funeral Service for Mrs. Hayes will be 2:00 pm, Thursday, June 16, 2016 at White Springs Baptist Church by Rev. James Beauford Buford Hayes and Rev. Donald Tillman. Burial will follow at Pleasant Hill Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 2:00 pm Thursday, June 16, 2016, one hour prior to the funeral service, at White Springs Baptist Church Family Life Center and suggest memorials be made to White Springs Baptist Church, Building Fund, 1249 Grace Avenue, Lancaster,SC 29720.
