LANCASTER, SC :::::::::: Mr. Morris B. Hinson, age 85, of 4192 Flat Creek Road, died Friday, October 23, 2009 at Springs Memorial Hospital. He was born April 9, 1924 in Lancaster, the son of the late Ernest Orin Hinson and Elizabeth Ann Sowell Hinson and was the husband of the late Lucille McNeely Hinson. Mr. Hinson was the owner and operator of Morris Hinson Grocery, a Mason with the Fork Hill Masonic Lodge, a member of High Point Baptist Church, and served our great country in the United States Navy during World War II.Mr. Hinson is survived by a son, Ernest Hinson and his wife Teddi of Heath Springs, a daughter, Cathy Hinson Hucks and her husband Larry also of Heath Springs, a brother, Gerald Hinson of Heath Springs, a sister, Ernestine Hinson Elliott of Denver, NC, 6 grandchildren, Jami Hinson Pritchard, E. J. Hinson, Beth Blackmon, Michael Blackmon, Waylon Hucks, and Dixon Hucks, and 2 great grandchildren, Emma Kate Pritchard and Kaylie Hucks. Mr. Hinson was preceded in death by a brother, Tommy Hinson and 3 sisters, Louise Bell, Jewel Finger, and Elizabeth Ann Hinson.The Celebration of Life Graveside Funeral Service for Mr. Hinson will be 2:00 pm, Sunday afternoon, October 25, 2009 at High Point Baptist Church Cemetery by Rev.
