LANCASTER, SC ~ Mitchell Lee Hilton, 31, passed away Friday, August 23, 2019 at Levine & Dickson Hospice House in Huntersville, NC.  He was born August 8, 1988, the son of Billy Hilton and Tammy Adams Roberts.  Mitchell worked along side his stepfather in a family owned construction business, where he was an exterminator and roofer.  He enjoyed knee boarding, making people laugh, and picking on his siblings.  Mitchell loved his family especially being a dad to his son, Allen.  He fought very hard to be with his family since his accident in 2012.

Mitchell is survived by his son, Allen Mitchell Hilton; his father, Billy Hilton (Angie); his mother, Tammy Roberts; four brothers, Benji Roberts, Toby Roberts (Jennifer), James Lucas (Laura), and Royce Hilton; and four sisters, Courtney Roberts Rape (Jesse), Rebecca Roberts, Christina Hilton (Tyler), and Josi-Rayne Hilton.

Mitchell was preceded in death by his stepfather, Willie Roberts, Jr.; his maternal grandparents, Crawford and Sue Adams; and his paternal grandparents, Norman Hilton and Martha Robinson.

The Celebration of Life Service for Mitchell will be 3:00 pm, Tuesday, August 27, 2019 at Bethel United Methodist Church officiated by Rev. Glenn Ribelin and Rev. Della Hunsucker.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 8:00 pm, Monday, August 26, 2019 at Burgess Funeral Home and other times at the home of Tammy Roberts.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Founders Federal Credit Union, College Fund for Allen Hilton, 607 N.
