LANCASTER, SC ~ Mrs. Melinda "Mindy" Sinclair Watts, age 61, passed away Saturday, July 17, 2021 at her home. She was born June 1, 1960 in Lancaster, a daughter of Fred Sinclair and the late Evelyn Starnes Sinclair and was the wife of Randy Von Watts.  Mindy enjoyed live music, outside concerts, movies and the beach.  She loved her cat, Leo and the color purple. She was a member of Grace United Methodist Church.

Mindy is survived by her husband, Randy Watts; her father, Fred Sinclair; a daughter, Shauna Rena` Gordon of Lancaster; a stepdaughter, Amy Watts Murphy (T.J.); a stepson, Robert Von Watts (Crystal); five grandchildren, Reagan Watts, Jack Watts, Ben Watts, Aubrey Murphy and Ansley Murphy and two nieces, Amber Cauthen and Crystal Deese.

Mindy was preceded in death by her mother, Evelyn Starnes Sinclair and a sister, Kimberly "Kim" Sinclair Cauthen.

The Celebration of Life Service for Mindy will be 3:00 pm Thursday, July 22, 2021, at The Chapel of Burgess Funeral Home. The family will receive friends one hour before the service, from 2:00 – 3:00 pm at the funeral home and suggest memorial contributions made to the Lancaster SPCA, PO Box 3042, Lancaster, SC 29721.
