LANCASTER, SC :::::::: Mr. Millon C. Threatt, age 76, of 388 John L. Hudson Sr. Road, died Tuesday, March 06, 2012 at Springs Memorial Hospital. He was born December 24, 1935 in Lancaster County, the son of the late P. L. Threatt and Myrtle Catoe Threatt and was the husband of Peggy Ellis Threatt. Mr. Threatt was the owner and operator of G & T Tire, a Mason with Wannamaker Lodge #329 for over 50 years, an avid outdoorsman and fisherman and was a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church. Mr. Threatt is survived by his wife of 55 years Peggy Ellis Threatt of the home, a son, Rev. Millon Bradley Threatt and his wife Shannon, 3 daughters, Janet T. Bratton and her husband Danny, Gaye T. Broughton and her husband Ken, and Wendy T. Steele and her fianc' Garon Keaton, 2 sisters, Mildred T. Knight and her husband Hazel and Roberta T. Wall and her husband John, 11 grandchildren, Amie Chavez, Amber Sistare, Matthew, Daniel and Khrystal Bratton, Matthew and Andrew Broughton, Taylor and Rachel Threatt, Phillip and Jeremy Jones, and 4 great grandchildren, Madison Benton, Morgan Pursley, Christian and Carlie Chavez. Mr. Threatt was preceded in death by 2 brothers, Winfred Threatt and Bruce Threatt, and 2 sisters, Argie Godfrey and Wilma Threatt. The Celebration of Life Funeral Service for Mr. Threatt will be 11:00 am, Thursday, March 8, 2012 at Bethlehem Baptist Church by Rev. Jason Myers. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The Family of Mr. Threatt will receive friends from 10:00 - 11:00 am Thursday, March 8, 2012 at the Family Life Center and the family suggests memorials to Bethlehem Baptist Church, Building Fund, 1841 N. Rocky River Road, Lancaster, SC 29720.
