LANCASTER, SC:::::::::::: Mrs. Mildred McCain Hinson, age 90, died Friday, October 23, 2009 at the Wayne Patrick Hospice House in Rock Hill. She was born March 1, 1919 in Lancaster, the daughter of the late James Kirk McCain and Myrtle McCain McCain and was the wife of Ross Cecil Hinson. Mrs. Hinson was the bookkeeper for Collins Dunn for many years and was a member of Unity A.R.P. Church where she had been very active with the youth, her circle and served as a Sunday School Teacher.Mrs. Hinson is survived by her husband, Ross Cecil Hinson of the home, a son, Jim Hinson and his wife Anne of Hartwell, GA, a daughter, Jeannie Hinson of Columbia, SC, and 2 brothers, Harry Lake McCain and Joe Ewart McCain both of Lancaster.Mrs. Hinson was preceded in death by a brother, Robert Dale McCain.The Celebration of Life Funeral Service for Mrs. Hinson will be 4:00 pm, Sunday afternoon, October 25, 2009 at Unity A.R.P. Church by Rev. Guy Smith with burial to follow in the church cemetery.The Family will receive friends immediately following the service in the church fellowship hall and suggest in lieu of flowers memorial contributions be made to Unity A.R.P.
