LANCASTER, SC ~ Ms. Mildred Sinclair Hefner, age 87, passed away Thursday, April 24, 2025 at White Oak Manor - Lancaster. She was born on March 26, 1938, a daughter of the late Clark Sinclair and the late Wilma Massey Sinclair. Ms. Hefner was always a hard worker; she loved being a caretaker. She enjoyed shopping, dressing up, doing her makeup, and reading her bible daily. Ms. Hefner was of the Baptist Faith.

Ms. Hefner is survived by her sister, Frieda Helms; her brother, Charles Sinclair; her four children, Sonya Rivers (Shannon), Timmy "Zeke" Sinclair, Robin Miller (Michael), and Carla Patrick (Chris); her grandchildren, Jeremy Sinclair (Mika), Russell Clark (Erica), Wesley Funderburk, Justin Funderburk (Carmen), Whitney Funderburk, Leah Sinclair, Garrett Sinclair (Nicole), Lacy Hall (Matt), Summer Houser, Bradley Miller (Andrea), and Cody Miller; and great-grandchildren, Chloe, Jacob, and Easton Clark, Keyleigh, Jace, and Harper Funderburk, Corbin and Adleigh Miller, Jaleigh, Liam, and Sara Sinclair, Mason Hall and Isiah "Zay" Green.

She is preceded in death by her daughter, Jewel Funderburk; her parents, Clark and Wilma Sinclair; two brothers, Ned Sinclair and Danny "Buck" Sinclair; and four sisters, Patsy Whitaker, Rachel Adams, Janice Snipes, and Judy Sinclair.

The Celebration of Life Service for Ms. Hefner will be 3:00 pm Sunday, April 27, 2025, at The Chapel of Burgess Funeral Home in Lancaster, SC.

The family will receive friends from 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm, one hour prior to the service, at Burgess Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, for those who wish, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, P.O.
