LANCASTER, SC:::::::Mrs. Mildred "Deanie" Crenshaw Haile, age 94, died Thursday, November 19, 2015 at the Lancaster Convalescent Center. She was born April 10, 1921 in Lancaster, the daughter of the late Edgar Furman Crenshaw and Bertha Mae Wright Crenshaw and was the wife of the late John Elmore Haile. Mrs. Haile was a homemaker and the mother of many children. She enjoyed gardening, loved to cook, farming, milking cows and making fresh butter and biscuits. She loved raising her children and was a member of First Presbyterian Church.

Mrs. Haile is survived by two sons, Bobby Gene Haile and his wife, Carolyn and Ronnie Dean Haile and his wife, Tammy; two daughters, Betty Haile Lucas and her husband, Hazel and Carolyn Haile; two sisters, Edith Todd and Mrs. Lathan H. "Diane" Rhyner all of Lancaster; 14 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren and 8 great-great grandchildren.

Mrs. Haile was preceded in death by two sons, John Kenneth Haile and Jerry Edgar Haile; a brother, John Earl Crenshaw; a sister, Polly Helms; and two grandchildren, Eddie Haile and Kimberly Burbach.

The Celebration of Life Funeral Service for Mrs. Haile will be 3:00 pm Sunday, November 22, 2015 at The Chapel of Burgess Funeral Home by Rev. Edgar McCall. Burial will follow at Lancaster Memorial Park.

The Family will receive friends one hour before the service, from 2:00 - 3:00 pm Sunday, at the funeral home, and suggest memorial contributions be made to Meals on Wheels, Lancaster County Council on Aging, PO Box 1296, Lancaster, SC 29721.
