LANCASTER, SC:::::::::::Mrs. Mildred Robinson Carson, age 92, died Wednesday, December 23, 2015 at the Lancaster Convalescent Center. She was born February 19, 1923 in Broxton, GA, a daughter of the late Albert Robinson and Beathra Threatt Robinson Snipes and was the wife of the late Thomas Carson. Mrs. Carson retired from Springs Industries - Grace Bleachery and was of the Baptist faith.
Mrs. Carson was the last remaining member of her family. She is survived by many nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Carson was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, two brothers, Andrew Robinson and Ralph Robinson, and six sisters, Jessie Horton, Thelma Catoe, Eunice Denton, Elizabeth Brown, Lucille Roddey and Iona Watson.
The Celebration of Life Graveside Funeral Service for Mrs. Carson will be 2:00 pm, Saturday, December 26, 2015 at Lancaster Memorial Park by Rev. Charlie Simpson.
The family suggests in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions be made to Hospice Care of South Carolina, 311-B North Main Street, Suite A, Lancaster, SC 29720.
