LANCASTER, SC ~ Mrs. Mildred Lee Barr Bradburn , age 79, passed away Sunday, June 13, 2021 at Atrium Health-Union.  She was born July 28, 1941 in Lancaster, SC, a daughter of the late Marvin "Doc" Barr and Catherine Steele Barr and was the wife of the late Bobby Joe Bradburn. Mrs. Bradburn enjoyed baking and was an avid reader. She was a volunteer at HOPE in Lancaster. Mrs. Bradburn was a member at Hopewell United Methodist Church. She was very involved in her church, she was a part of the women's missions, Spencer Robinson Sunday School Class, and UMC Youth Fellowship (UMYF) where she touched many young children's lives for many years. Mrs. Bradburn loved everyone, especially her family.

Mildred is survived by her daughter, Sheryl Bradburn Baker; two sons, Rob Bradburn (Cheryl), and Paul Bradburn (Susan); a brother, Jimmy Barr; a sister, Linda Terry (Russell); six grandchildren, Baker Rogers (Sarah), Jessica Bradburn, Nicole Morris (Andy), Lauren Catoe (Simon), Coty Bradburn (Noelle), and Bobby Bradburn; five great grandchildren, Drew Morris, Roy Catoe, Dax Morris, Sutton Rogers, and Annabeth Catoe.

Mildred was preceded in death by her husband, Bobby Joe Bradburn; her parents, Marvin "Doc" Barr and Catherine Barr; Son-in-law, Michael Wayne "Mike" Baker; two sisters, Karen Carter (Keith), and Carol Mackey; a sister-in-law, Darlene Barr.

The Celebration of Life Service for Mildred will be 3:00 pm Wednesday, June 16, 2021 at Hopewell United Methodist officiated by Rev. Candice Sloan.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Mildred will be available for public viewing in the church sanctuary from 2:00 - 3:00 pm, one hour prior to the service, Hopewell United Methodist Church.  For those who wish, memorial contributions may be made to Hopewell United Methodist Church, General Fund, 3734 Heyward Hough Road, Lancaster, SC  29720, or HOPE in Lancaster, 2008 Pageland Hwy, Lancaster, SC 29720.
