LANCASTER, SC ~ Mr. Thomas Michael "Mike" Carnes, age 62, passed away Tuesday, March 22, 2022. He was born January 5, 1960, in Lancaster, a son of the late Thomas Luther Carnes Jr. and the late Sandra Starnes Neill. Mike proudly served in The United States Marines. He enjoyed antique cars and old coins. He liked to watch NASCAR, Clemson Football, and loved all animals, especially his cat, Tuttus. Mikes favorite thing to do was spend time with his two sisters and his family.

Mike is survived by his two sisters, Wanda Stewart (Richard), and Pam Carnes; five nephews; and a brother from another mother, Johnny Gaskins.

Mike was preceded in death by his parents; and his brother, William "Twittle" Douglas Carnes.

The Celebration of Life Graveside Service for Mike will be 2:00 pm Thursday, March 24, 2022, at Lancaster Memorial Park officiated by Terrance McDow and Chaplin Vivian Boyd.
