LANCASTER, SC~ Mikah Jeannette Helms, age 46, passed away Monday, January 4, 2021 at MUSC-Lancaster.  She was born April 30, 1974 in Lancaster, the daughter of Rachel Cook Helms and the late Carl Michael Helms.

Mikah was especially proud of her son Zayn.  She enjoyed spending time with family and friends and especially their large family gatherings.  She was very close to her cousins and enjoyed their time together. Mikah loved to shop and never turned down a good shopping trip.  She was a member of Second Baptist Church.

Mikah is survived by her mother; Rachel Cook Helms; her son, Ethan Zayn Helms; two brothers, Eric Dean Helms and Zachary Stewart Helms (fiancé, Brittney Hammond); her nieces, Jordan Fultz and Hannah and Zoe Helms; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

In lieu of a funeral service, the family will receive friends and family to celebrate Mikah's life on Saturday, January 9, 2021 from 3:00 - 5:00 p.m. at the family home.
