LANCASTER, SC – Mr. Charles Michael Hunter, age 63, passed away Wednesday, June 26, 2024. He was born July 5, 1960, the son of the late Billy Hunter and Sara Elaine Henry Hunter Leopard and was the loving husband of Tammera "Tami" Michelle Hunter. Michael was an avid Clemson Tigers fan. Michael was a hard worker who enjoyed going to work every day to provide for his family. If he was not working, you could find him studying WWII and The Civil War, traveling to historic sites, or riding his Harley Davidson. Michael loved all his family dearly, especially his granddaughter, who he raised and loved as his daughter, Jacey Hunter.

Michael is survived by his wife of 27 years, Tami Hunter; his two sons, Josh Hunter, and Drake Rollins (Tanya Bush); two granddaughters, Jacey Hunter, and Gracelyn Hunter; his loving aunt, Rhonda Cauthen; his special cousin, Kendall Cauthen, and her children, Abby Khoury, Alex Khoury, and Nicholas Khoury; and many special family members and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Billy Hunter and Elaine Leopard.

The Celebration of Life Service for Michael will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, for those who wish, memorials may be made to a charity of one's choice.
