LANCASTER, SC::::::::::Mr. Michael Eugene "Mike" Honeycutt, age 49, of 643 Fickling Drive, died Sunday, April 4, 2010 at his home. He was born June 18, 1960 in Stanley County, NC, the son of the late Bruce Honeycutt and Ruth Almond Honeycutt and was the husband of Karen Jordan Honeycutt. Mr. Honeycutt was employed with Springland, Inc. and was a member of Eastside Baptist Church. Mr. Honeycutt is survived by his wife, Karen Jordan Honeycutt of the home, a son, Matthew "Matt" Honeycutt of Lancaster, two daughters, Angie Lynn Honeycutt McCowan and Shawn Marie Honeycutt both of Lancaster, five brothers, Boyd Honeycutt and Hugh Jay Honeycutt of Concord, NC, J D Honeycutt and Herman Honeycutt of Locust, NC and Dewey Honeycutt of Lancaster, three sisters, Irene Sanders of Lynwood, NC, Mary Smith of Locust, NC and Johnsie Helms of Oakboro, NC, and three grandchildren, Arianna Elizabeth McClain, Madison Nicole McCowan and Alexa Jade Crane. Mr. Honeycutt was preceded in death by two brothers, Edward Honeycutt and Wade Honeycutt.The Celebration of Life Funeral Service for Mr. Honeycutt will be 2:00 pm Tuesday, April 6, 2010 at Eastside Baptist Church by Rev. James Atkinson and Rev. Donald Tillman with burial to follow at Lancaster Memorial Park.The Family of Mr. Honeycutt will receive friends from 6:00 - 8:00 pm Monday evening, April 5, 2010 at Hartley Funeral Home and suggest memorial contributions be made to Eastside Baptist Church, 1180 Garnette Road, Lancaster, SC 29720.
