LANCASTER, SC~ Michael Jason Hegler, age 51, passed away on Monday, November 27, 2023.  He was born on May 1, 1972, in Lancaster, SC, the son of Bobby Hegler and Gail Ballard Hegler.  Michael was an avid Clemson fan, loved fishing, drinking cold beer, smoking a cigarette, and having a good time.  He worked in the landscaping industry with his best friend, Ervin Terry. Michael will be tremendously missed by his family and friends.

Michael is survived by his parents, Bobby and Gail Hegler; his brother, Robert Hegler (Michelle); aunt and uncle, Rick and Reba Ballard; his best true friend ever, Ervin Terry; and his dogs, Roco and Bella.

Michael was preceded in death by his grandparents, Bob Hegler, Sr. and Ann Hegler "Grandma Pete", and Clyde Ballard; and an Uncle, Don Ballard.
