F ORT LAWN, SC ~ Mr. Michael Thomas Gallozzi, age 55, passed away Friday, June 21, 2019 at MUSC Health- Lancaster Medical Center.  He was born January 10, 1964 in Brooklyn, NY, a son of Mary Lowery Gallozzi and the late Richard Thomas Gallozzi. He was the devoted and loving husband of Grace Pilch Gallozzi.  Mr. Gallozzi was a Senior Director for Capital Assets with Longview Senior Housing Advisors.  He was a volunteer fireman and former Chief of Farmingville Fire Department, in New York for over 23 years.  Mr. Gallozzi was a loving husband and father. Michael's life mission and passion was to help others. He enjoyed playing with his buddy, Dorian, being the chew toy for his grandpuppy, Quinn, fishing, hiking, gardening, cooking for everyone, and spending time on the lake. Mr. Gallozzi was a great craftsman, enjoyed building houses and furniture and was an amazing chef. He was the most creative man; he could fix or build anything.

Mr. Gallozzi is survived by his wife of 31 years, Grace Pilch Gallozzi; a daughter (his Princess), AnnaMaria Grace Gallozzi and her husband, Samuel Allen Larson of Austin, TX; a son, Brian Austin and his wife, Christine of Atlanta, GA and their children, Gianna and Isabella; two brothers, Richard Gallozzi and his wife Amy of Fort Lawn, SC and John Flickinger and his wife, Renee of Waxhaw, NC.

Mr. Gallozzi was preceded in death by his father, Richard Gallozzi.

The Celebration of Life Funeral Mass for Mr. Gallozzi will be 11:00 am, Wednesday, June 26, 2019 at The Chapel of Burgess Funeral Home.  Burial will follow at Lakeland Memorial Park in Monroe, NC.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 – 7:00 pm, Tuesday, June 25, 2019 at Burgess Funeral Home, 1800 Charlotte Hwy., Lancaster, SC.
