WAXHAW, NC ~ Mrs. May "Dee" Dolores Terrasi Pirrello, age 79, passed away Saturday, December 25, 2021, at home. She was born November 24, 1942, in Brooklyn, NY, a daughter of the late Andrew Terrasi and Josephine Casserra Terrasi and was the wife of Salvatore Joseph Pirrello.  Dee was very talented in interior design, enjoyed shopping, playing cards, especially Mahjong (she was queen of this game), and changing her hair color.  She was a member of St. Matthews Catholic Church.

Dee is survived by her husband of 57 years, Salvatore Pirrello; her five daughters, Toni Ann Bach (Eddie) of NY, Patti Lynn Catapano (Peter) of NY, Lisa Marie Gonyea of Waxhaw, Debbi Sue Joseph (Bill) of Waxhaw, and Barbi Jo Breedon (Pete) of SC; and nine grandchildren, Brittany, Taylor, Brianna, Amanda, Dillon, Cori Ann, Victoria, Billy, and Hayden.

Dee was preceded in death by her parents; and her sister, Francis Dara.

The Celebration of Life Service for Dee will be 11:00 am Thursday, December 30, 2021, at St. Matthews Catholic Church, 8015 Ballantyne Commons Parkway, Charlotte, NC officiated by Father Jonathan Torres.
