LANCASTER, SC ::::::::::: Mrs. Maudelle Gregory Small, age 88, died Saturday, June 19, 2010 at the Lancaster Convalescent Center. She was born September 13, 1921 in Lancaster, the daughter of the late Cleveland Cicero Gregory and Dochia Mothershed Gregory and was the wife of the late Olin Small. Mrs. Small retired from B.C. Moore's and was a member of Glenwood Heights Baptist Church where she had taught Sunday school.Mrs. Small was the last remaining member of her immediate family and is survived by many nieces and nephews. Mrs. Small was preceded in death by four sisters, Norma Garris, Lena Grace Broome, Lucille Williams and Ruby Clark and two brothers, W. C. Gregory and Cleveland C. Gregory, Jr.The Celebration of Life Funeral Service for Mrs. Small will be 3:00 pm, Tuesday, June 22, 2010 at Glenwood Heights Baptist Church by Rev. Joe Reed, Rev. Steve Neal and Rev. Jerry Ford. Burial will follow in Rich Hill Baptist Church Cemetery.The Family of Mrs. Small will receive friends from 1:30 - 3:00 pm, Tuesday in the church fellowship hall and suggest memorial contributions be made to Glenwood Heights Baptist Church, 600 Nichols Road, Lancaster, SC 29720.
