LANCASTER, SC ~ Mrs. Mary Frances Ballard Williams, age 77, passed away Friday, July 19, 2024. She was born April 29, 1947, in Lancaster, SC, daughter of the late James Bruce Ballard and Doris Hinson Ballard White and was the wife of the late Walter Colon Williams, Jr. Mrs. Williams enjoyed sitting in her swing on the carport, cooking for everyone, going to the beach, her flowers, outings with her friends, and spending time loving on her family, especially her grandchildren and her new great grandson, Callum. She was a member of the Eastern Star when she was younger. Mrs. Williams was a member of Zion United Methodist Church.

Mrs. Williams is survived by her son, Butch Williams (Kendra); her daughter, Missy Parker (Jimmy); five grandchildren, Matthew Williams, Reagan Williams (Bubba), Alyson Parker Chavis (Nick), Zachary Parker, and Lathan Porter; two great grandchildren, Callum Chavis and Archer Porter; brother, Hugh White; sister, Michelle White Steele (Tim); sister-in-law, Pat Ballard; many nieces and nephews; and numerous close friends.

Mrs. Williams was preceded in death by her husband, Colon Williams; her daughter, Angie Lloyd; granddaughter, Karli Rebecca Parker; twin great grandsons, Carson Walter Williams and Ellison Corey Williams; her parents, James and Doris Ballard; stepfather, Harry White; brother, Jimmy Ballard; and sister, Brenda Ballard Pope.

The Celebration of Life Service for Mrs. Williams will be 2:00 pm, Tuesday, July 23, 2024, at Zion United Methodist Church officiated by Rev. Todd Robinson and Mr. Jimmy Parker.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm, Monday, July 22, 2024, at Burgess Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, for those who wish, memorials may be made to Zion United Methodist Church, 1665 Zion Road, Lancaster, SC 29720.
