LANCASTER, SC ::::::::::: Mrs. Mary Elaine Craig Williams, age 85, resident of The Court at South Park and formerly of 2334 McIlwain Road, died Monday, October 24, 2011 at Presbyterian Hospital. She was born July 7, 1926 in Union County, NC, the daughter of the late Judson Allen Craig and Lela Starnes Craig and was the wife of the late James Melvin Williams. Mrs. Williams retired from Springs Industries with 40 years of service and was a member of Douglas Presbyterian Church of Lancaster. Mrs. Williams is survived by 2 sons, Jim Williams and his wife Janet of Charlotte and Tom Williams and his wife Kris of Holly Springs, NC, a brother, Clyburn Craig of Perry, GA, and 4 grandchildren, Colleen, Craig, Kaitlin and Nicole Williams. The Celebration of Life Funeral Service for Mrs. Williams will be 11:00 am, Thursday, October 27, 2011 at Douglas Presbyterian Church by Rev. Kristen Williams and Rev. Harris Ricks. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.The Family of Mrs. Williams will receive friends immediately following the service at the fellowship hall and in lieu of flowers suggests memorials to Douglas Presbyterian Church, 2325 Sunday Place, Lancaster, SC 29720 or Alzheimer's Association, 901 S.
