LANCASTER, SC:::::::::::: Mrs. Mary Louise Bost Walters, age 94, died Monday, December 22, 2008 at White Oak Manor. She was born February 19, 1914 in Charlotte, NC the daughter of the late William Edgar Bost, Jr.,Martha Jane Gales Bost and step-mother Mae D. Bost and was the wife of the late Woodrow Wilson Walters. Mrs. Walters retired from Belk Department Store and was a member of Taylor's Grove Baptist Church.Mrs. Walters is survived by 2 sons, Michael B. Walters and his wife Carol of Lancaster and Rev. Keith W. Walters and his wife Robbie of New London, NC, a brother, James Bost of Lynchburg, VA, 3 sisters, Avis Holt of Mullins, SC, Irma Barker of Conway, SC, and Wanda Lee of North Myrtle Beach, 4 grandchildren, Chad Walters, Kelly W. George, Gregory Walters, and Lori Walters, and 4 great grandchildren, Wilson, Madeline, Ann, and Zachary Walters.Mrs. Walters was preceded in death by 2 brothers, George Bost and Booth Bost and a sister, Corrine Smith. The Celebration of Life Funeral Service for Mrs. Walters will be 2:00 pm, Wednesday, December 24, 2008 at Hartley Funeral Home Chapel by Rev. Keith Walters with burial to follow at Lancaster Memorial Park.The Family of Mrs. Walters will receive friends from 6:00 - 8:00 pm Tuesday evening, December 23, 2008 at Hartley Funeral Home and suggest memorial contributions be made to White Oak Manor Activity Fund, 253 Craig Manor Road, Lancaster, SC 29720.
