LANCASTER, SC ~ Mrs. Mary Elizabeth Funderburk Phillips, age 82, passed away Tuesday, December 7, 2021. She was born October 24, 1939, in Lancaster, SC, a daughter of the late Wade Funderburk and Estelle Williams Funderburk Plyler.  Mrs. Phillips loved working in her flowers, sewing, spending time with her neighbors, going to the mountains, and being with her family.  She was a member of Hopewell United Methodist Church.

Mrs. Phillips is survived by two sons, Eric Lane (Phyllis) and Brett Lane (Missy); seven grandchildren; thirteen great grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; two nieces; one nephew; and a sister-in-law, Mary Funderburk.

Mrs. Phillips was preceded in death by her husband, William "Algie" Phillips; a son, Dennis Lane; two brothers, Charles Funderburk and Donald Funderburk; and a sister-in-law, Opal Funderburk.

Due to the ongoing Covid situation, the family has decided not to have a public service for Mrs. Phillips.
