LANCASTER, SC:::::::::::: Mary Olivia Pettit, age 9, died Sunday, March 22, 2009 at Springs Memorial Hospital. She was born August 5, 1999 in Matthews, NC, the daughter of Bryan Jory Pettit and Lisa Bethea Pettit. She was a fourth grader at North Elementary School, a member of the Lancaster Swim Team and loved dancing with Dance Works Unlimited. She also enjoyed taking piano lessons and was a member of First United Methodist Church.Olivia is survived by her parents, Bryan and Lisa Pettit, a brother, Jory Pettit of the home, her maternal grandmother, Sally G. Bethea of Lancaster, and her paternal grandparents, Eleanor and Don Brouwer of Lancaster.Olivia was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, Willis D. Bethea and her paternal grandfather, Joseph Pettit. The Celebration of Life Funeral Service for Olivia will be 11:00 am Wednesday morning, March 25, 2009 at First United Methodist Church by Rev. Dan Batson and Rev. Jason Everson with burial to follow at Lancaster Memorial Park.The Family will receive friends from 5:00 - 8:00 pm Tuesday evening, March 24, 2009 at Hartley Funeral Home and suggest memorial contributions be made to Humane Society of Lancaster, SC, 126 S.
