LANCASTER, SC ::::::::::: Mrs. Mary "Maxine" Hilton Moore, age 75, died Friday, April 19, 2013 at her home. She was born October 16, 1937 in Charlesboro, the daughter of the late Curtis Coleman Hilton and Mary Ethel Catoe Hilton and was the wife of Delbert O. Moore. Mrs. Moore was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother; known as Maw-Maw Maxine by her grandchildren and Granny "Mac" by her great grandchildren. Mrs. Moore retired from the Alisa Plant and was a member of Pleasant Dale Baptist Church.

Mrs. Moore is survived by her husband of 57 years, Delbert O. Moore, 4 daughters, Debbie Walker and her husband Brooks of Heath Springs, Karen Love and her husband Rock, Robin Jewett and her husband Mark, and Kim Ghent and her husband Lee all of Lancaster, 2 brothers, Raeford Hilton and his wife Voncile of Lancaster, and Johnny Hilton and his wife Barbara of Great Falls, 2 sisters, Ann Floyd and her husband Ken, and Myrtis West both of Lancaster, 10 grandchildren, Shane Love, Dustin Adams, Mindy Ries, Caleb Love, Jordan Adams, Colby Adams, Marley Ghent, Hope Jewett, Josiah Walker, and Bethany Walker, and 4 great grandchildren, Brittany Jordan, Gavin Love, Ashton Ries and Paisley Love.

Mrs. Moore was preceded in death by a sister, Jane H. Ellis.

The Celebration of Life Funeral Service for Mrs. Moore will be 11:00 am Monday, April 22, 2013 at The Chapel of Hartley Burgess Funeral Home by Rev. Brooks Walker and Rev. David Inman.

The Family of Mrs. Moore will receive friends from 5:00 - 7:00 Sunday, April 21, 2013 at the funeral home and in lieu of flowers suggest memorials be made to American Brain Tumor Association, 8550 W. Bryn Mawr Avenue, Suite 550, Chicago, IL 60631 or www.abta.org.
