LANCASTER, SC:::::::::::Mary Sue Horton Bell, age 71, died Sunday, August 10, 2014. She was born September 4, 1942 in Lancaster County, the daughter of the late Clyburn O'dell Horton and Mary Aline Howard Horton and was the wife of the late Andrew Blease Bell. Mrs. Bell retired from Mack Truck and was a member of Faith Baptist Church.

Mrs. Bell is survived by her children, Marion Scott Bell and his wife Carla of Lancaster, Stacey Hilliard and her husband Joey of Heath Springs, and Susanne Lecture and her husband Michael of Cincinnati, OH, a brother, Clyburn O. "Buddy" Horton, Jr. and a sister, JoAnn Reynolds both of Lancaster, 6 grandchildren, Mitchell Bell, Allison Bell, Abby Bell, Hunter Hilliard, Nicholas Lecture and Samantha Lecture, and a great grandchild, Maverick Bell.

The Celebration of Life Funeral Service for Mrs. Bell will be 11:00 am, Thursday, August 14, 2014 at Faith Baptist Church by Rev. Gerald Eaves. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

The Family of Mrs. Bell will receive friends from 6:00 - 8:00 pm Wednesday, August 13, 2014 at Burgess Funeral Home and the family suggests memorial contributions be made to Faith Baptist Church, Cemetery Fund, 4695 JB Denton Road, Lancaster, SC 29720 or Shriner's Hospital, 950 West Faris Street, Greenville, SC 29605.
