LANCASTER, SC:::::::::::Mrs. Mary Lee Hinson McPherson, age 90, died Thursday, April 24, 2014 at her home. She was born January 21, 1924 in Lancaster, a daughter of the late Leroy Yates Hinson and Lola Ellen Mahaffey Hinson and was the wife of the late Charles Ray McPherson. Mrs. McPherson worked as a store clerk and was a lifetime member of High Point Baptist Church where she was a member of the WMU and the Young at Heart.

She is survived by two sisters, Lorene H. Phillips and her husband Clyde and Maxine H. Bradley both of Lancaster, and many nieces and nephews.

Mrs. McPherson was preceded in death by a sister, Pauline H. Hinson.

The Celebration of Life Funeral Service for Mrs. McPherson will be 2:00 pm, Saturday, April 26, 2014, at High Point Baptist Church by Rev. Billy Belk and Rev. Bobby Joyner. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 - 8:00pm Friday evening, April 25, 2014 at Burgess Funeral Home and suggest memorial contributions be made to High Point Baptist Church, 1888 Rocky River Road, Lancaster, SC 29720.
