KERSHAW, SC ::::::::::: Mrs. Mary Lois Sistare Efird, age 69, of 216 Neal Street, died Thursday, December 17, 2009 at her home. She was born May 25, 1940 in Lancaster County, the daughter of the late Frank Sistare and Mary Melita Stogner Sistare and was the wife of the late Roy Efird. Mrs. Efird retired from Fun Tee's and was of the Baptist faith. Mrs. Efird is survived by 2 sons, Frank LeGrande and his wife Gwen and Jeff LeGrande and his wife Joan both of Kershaw, 5 brothers, Buck Sistare and John Henry Sistare both of Lancaster, Joe Sistare of Memphis, TN, Billy Sistare of Rock Hill, and Bob Sistare of Kershaw, 4 sisters, Louise Hyatt of Lewisville, Carolyn Valdez of Rock Hill, Elizabeth Ligon of Waxhaw, and Debra Helms of Indian Trail, 3 grandchildren, Johnnie LeGrande and Amy Graham, and 3 great grandchildren; Emily, Melody, and Lauren Graham.Mrs. Efird was preceded in death by a sister, Sara Roscoe. The Celebration of Life Memorial Service for Mrs. Efird will be 2:00 pm Saturday, December 18, 2009 at The Chapel of Hartley Funeral Home by Joe Sistare. The Family will receive friends from 1:00 - 2:00 pm, Saturday, December 18, 2009 at Hartley Funeral Home and in lieu of flowers suggest memorial contributions to the Humane Society of Lancaster, 126 S. Main Street, Lancaster, SC 29720.The Family will be at the home of her brother, Buck Sistare, 3053 Bucks Drive, Lancaster, SC 29720.
