LANCASTER, SC:::::::::::Mrs. Mary Cox Connor, age 80, died Tuesday, April 2, 2013 at White Oak Manor. She was born April 20, 1932 in Greenville, SC, the daughter of the late Foster Wendell Cox and Anna Wolfe Cox. She was the wife of Earl T. Connor. Mrs. Connor was a retired secretary and bookkeeper for Mike Williams Builder and had served on the Boys Home Board. She loved children and was a Sunday School teacher for many years. She enjoyed directing weddings and making wedding cakes. She loved outdoor family sports and activities and was a member of Second Baptist Church.

Mrs. Connor is survived by her husband, Earl T. Connor. They had 3 sons, Doug and his wife Karen (predeceased), Joe (predeceased) and his wife Elaine, and Mark and his wife Jewel; 3 grandchildren, Jennifer, Anna, and Ben; and a sister, Jean Fulmer and her husband Jack.

The Celebration of Life Graveside Funeral Service for Mrs. Connor will be at 1:30 pm, Thursday, April 4, 2013 at Woodlawn Memorial Park in Greenville, SC directed by Rev. Dr. Brian Saxon. Burial will follow.

The Family of Mrs. Connor will receive friends from 5:00 - 7:00pm Wednesday evening, April 3, 2013 at Hartley Burgess Funeral Home, 1800 Charlotte Highway, Lancaster, SC 29720. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorials be made to Alzheimer's Association, SC Chapter, 4124 Ste. L, Anderson, SC 29621 or to White Oak Manor, 253 Craig Manor Rd, Lancaster, SC 29720.
