LANCASTER, SC:::::::::::Mrs. Mary Frances Arant Estridge, age 81, passed away Wednesday, November 16, 2016 at Springs Memorial Hospital.. She was born December 12, 1934 in Lancaster County, SC, a daughter of the late Ben Carl Arant and Myrtle Laney Arant and was the wife of the late Harold Estridge. Mrs. Estridge retired from JP Stevens and worked at Cone Mills for a short time. She loved taking care of her flower garden and was a wonderful cook.

Mrs. Estridge is survived by a daughter, Kay Rumsey and her husband, Pat of Lancaster; a son, Mark Preuss of Lancaster; a daughter-in-law, Terry Cauthen; four grandchildren, Mary Preuss, Pat Rumsey Jr., Kristopher Rumsey and Brandon Rumsey and his wife, Courtney; and two great grandchildren, Claire Elise Rumsey and Carly Shae Rumsey.

Mrs. Estridge was preceded in death by a son, John Robert Johnny Preuss, Jr.

The Celebration of Life Funeral Service for Mrs. Estridge will be 2:00 pm, Sunday, November 20, 2016 at The Chapel of Burgess Funeral Home by Rev. Jessie Adams and Rev. Doug Taylor. Burial will follow at Pleasant Dale Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service and suggest memorial contributions be made to Pleasant Dale Baptist Church, 133 South Potter Road, Lancaster, SC, 29720.
